Burning Trash

Yes...out here in the country we burn trash. Or at least we burn the burnable stuff like paper. No use filling up landfills with stuff like that. And I refuse to believe that me burning paper plates and newspapers is bad for the environment. Recycling might be better, but they don't come out to the country to pick up your recycled stuff.

Stupid Redneck Hicks

Seriously...sometimes I am ashamed to be from the area. Stupid redneck hicks think this makes them look 'country'. It makes them look like a bunch of ignorant hillbillies. It's not southern pride...it's racist and hateful. You can't tell me they don't know that a confederate flag has a negative connotation to the majority of people in the world.

By the way...this was painted on! It looked terrible up close. AND...I'm pretty sure it was a female's truck because it says Dixie Girl on the tailgate.

Friendly Snake

There was a little black snake just hanging out on my county road as I drove home today. He didn't move a muscle when I stopped and put my phone 5 inches from his head. Usually they slither away pretty fast. By the way...he was only about two foot long.

I love that after 3 or 4 years of accidentally mowing over or weed eating this vine, it has finally had a chance to bloom.

Noel Strikes Again

I moved these coats off the coat rack because I had to take it off the wall to start preparing to paint the living room. I guess I shouldn't have just piled them on the floor because now she's using them as a bed. I really should have known better.
